Raised Royal

This project is a mural painted in the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City.

The Royals organization campaigned for several works of art in and around the city based on being “ Raised Royal.” My focus on doing work for families and children led me to the idea of being raised as a Royals fan. I remember the lines for hotdogs, sporting the hat and game day gear. These were the things I thought about when I created this character. “It all starts with their first game.” The plan focused on raising spirits, filling the bleachers, and raising the roof for our HOME team.
