Children’s Hospital Open Spaces
Something that I love doing is helping transform large open interior spaces where people either wait or gather. Nothing is like helping set a mood or giving people a place to dream and explore. Here are some spaces I liked from Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, where I was a Resident Artist and Special Projects Manager for 18 years. One of the things I loved the most about working on these projects was working with the In-House construction staff on these spaces. The Carpenters would always elevate my sketches and ideas more than I could imagine and give me such great pieces to paint and create.
