Sporting some Mercy

I always love the opportunity to do live painting at events, and this project was especially memorable. It took place at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, right after they made a big move by acquiring the naming rights to Sporting KC's stadium. When the announcement was made during the first game of the season, many of the hospital's employees came out to take part in events leading up to the game.

A DJ friend of mine played music, and I painted a character that connected my artistic style at the hospital with the energy of the players on the field. It was such an amazing day, filled with creativity, great vibes, and a sense of community.
