Resound Moments

Last month, I went on an adventure with my friend Kyle from Spacesuit Productions to the Flint Hills National Park in rural Kansas. Kyle is working on a short film about me, and we wanted to capture some footage in the very place that inspired The Resound Fields in my book. We arrived before sunrise and hiked into the park, where the beauty and stillness instantly struck me. The Flint Hills are a magical place, and they perfectly mirror how I envision the Resound Fields in the book. The silence is almost tangible, and the sight of endless waves of grass stretching out into the horizon feels like a pristine canvas—one you almost don’t want to disturb. I’m excited to share this film with everyone soon. It’s going to offer a more personal glimpse into what motivates me as an artist.
